In fulfillment of the National Directives in regards to Mazingira Day 2026 , Rarieda NG-CDF, Sub County Forest Officers, Chiefs , Assistant Chiefs , Rarieda TVC Fraternity and other stakeholders aligned themselves with these directives and started the tree planting exercise in the constituency . The exercise was carried out at Rarieda TVC where assorted species of trees were planted . The participants recognized that conservation extends beyond planting of trees and into ensuring that the planted trees thrive. This will be achieved by the Committee in conjunction with the sub county forest officers monitoring the planted seedlings survival rates over the next three months.
